Covid-19 has shown us how fragile this world is and how easily our world can get turned upside down. Maybe that has made you think that life as we knew it just isn’t worth putting your trust in anymore. Maybe you want to find something more secure to trust in, something or someone that at least has a plan.

Does God Exist? - Session 2

The Bible doesn’t shy away from the fact that God cannot be seen. It’s not some inconvenient mistake the people who wrote the Bible try not to mention, they actively promote it as a characteristic.

1 Tim 1:17 "To the king eternal, immortal and invisible, the only God…be honour and glory for ever."

The Resurrection - Session 3

After looking at all the evidence there can only be 3 possibilities.

1. It wasn’t true, Jesus knew perfectly well it wasn’t true, in which case he was a fraudster

2. It wasn’t true, but Jesus didn’t realise it wasn’t true, he genuinely thought he was the Son of God. In which case he was deluded, perhaps insane.

3. Logically, there is only one other possibility and that is...it is true.

Why Did Jesus Have To Die? - Session 4

Whether we have a religious background or not, we have heard things like, “Jesus died for the sins of the world” or “Jesus gave his life for me.”

Words like redemption and sanctification are surrounded by a sense of religious mystery…and more often than not over complicate the message God wants us to understand.

Why and How Do I Read The Bible - Session 5

Real living comes from God’s words. And these can only be found in the Bible.

You may think that it is a bit of an obscure way of getting the message across. Why not emblazon it across the sky? Or have it imprinted on the inside of our eyelids? Or why doesn’t God do something unmistakably divine so every human being alive has no choice but to believe?

Prayer - Session 6

There are benefits and challenges to prayer. How we can pray and why we should pray? And ultimately, does anybody listen?

God is not Santa. We cannot approach God with a list of things we would like and try and use our good behaviour as a bargaining tool to secure the deal. It’s also important to realise that we are not Aladdin and God is not our a genie. He will not grant us any wish we have.

How Can I Resist Evil? - Session 7

Despite God seeing everything we do - all the evil and all our sin - He still offers us the greatest opportunity to be offered to any person.

It doesn’t matter what we think of ourselves or what other people think of us, if we accept the offer of God to be His child, our slate will be wiped clean.

How Do I Make The Most Of My Life? - Session 8

God tests us wanting us to pass. He wants us to get this ‘crown of life’. Our lives are about God wanting us to pass the test, and His Bible is full of instructions and clues as to how to do that.
